Our vision is to provide children the opportunities to express themselves artistically about their needs, dreams, and issues that impact their lives, as well as supporting community-based organizations that implement innovative approaches and programs designed to (a) address these needs and issues, and (b) develop the type leadership in children consistent with our mission.
The March of Dimes strives to reduce preterm birth rates. We raise awareness and educate women and health care providers. We support medical advances and fund promising research. Advocacy efforts have resulted in federal funding for research and education.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.9 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), as a leading charitable organization of the entertainment industry, harnesses the collective power of the entire industry to raise awareness and funds for critical health, educational and social issues in order to make a positive impact in our community and throughout the nation.
